An open day for the satellite service was held on 26th April and we had a great turnout! A buffet lunch was on offer and networking opportunities for agencies to see what we do. An introduction was given by Moira Washington, Manager of C-Level and she thanked the local community and Phoenix Community Health for allowing us this opportunity to support residents in the Inverclyde area with their HCV status.
Gordon Peacock who is the peer support worker for the area then gave a presentation about our services and encouraged both clients and agencies to utilise our service.
Guests included the Lord Provost Michael McCormack, Jim McCloud, Port Glasgow Councillor for Health & Disabilities and Joe McIllwee, Health & Social Care Councillor.
The satellite service is open for drop-in services on Mondays and individual discussions by appointment. 0141 332 2520
